Blaise and Soul have been a couple for a while now and I think it shows in their body language: comfortable, secure and not afraid to show the intensity of their love. The last bit, for me, was the clincher. I have always been acutely aware that love comes in many hues and each couple sees that differently. The more intense hues are usually hidden away below the surface while the lighter, gigglier hues are allowed to be seen. Blaise and Soul are different.
On the photography front, I have been re-discovering my love for natural light portraits. On an occasion such as this, it allows the couple to do their own thing. Also, It suits the more casual look where, compared to a wedding, the couple is more casually dressed and the context is breezier as well. This, to a large extent, has been made possible by the bigger dynamic range available in raw files of the newer Canon cameras. It certainly has opened up many new possibilities.
